Painting surprise
This week, our DPA President attended a watercolour painting class at our Hall with the amazing Marlene Palagyi. Marlene runs 6-class series over a term, with a full class of 20 regular students almost every week. The class is mostly made up of locals, although some come from as far as Holgate and Green Point to attend the sessions. The pace is not too fast, and the techniques are quick and easy to pick up.
Julie said: "Having only ever painted as part of home and furniture renovations, I was amazed and delighted at my creation. I’m certain it could only have been done with the help of Marlene’s expertise and gentle guidance. Even if you think you can’t paint, try Marlene’s class. You might very well discover you can."
