DPA turned 100 in June 2026! 🎂
Celebrating a Centenary of Continuous Community Service
Local Business Expo
We began our celebrations with a Local Business Expo in Davistown Progress Hall and along the waterfront outside.
There were stalls, face painting, quoits games, buskers, dancers, a chocolate wheel, a colouring competition, a historical display, food stalls, and more.
Kids of all ages loved operating the excavator and making the siren sound on the fire engine.
The weather gods smiled on us, and we had an absolutely spectacular day.
Gala Dinner
In the evening, we had a 1920s-themed Gala Dinner at Davistown RSL. Councillor Sharon Walsh was our guest speaker, Adam Crouch MP presented the Association with a commemorative plaque, Ebb and Flow sang some on-theme musical numbers, and Lisa Bellamy taught us how to do the Charleston.
And, of course, we couldn't turn 100 years old without having a birthday cake!
If you took photos of either event, we'd love to see them. Please upload them on our Snapsharer page here.
Davistown Progress Association gratefully acknowledges the support of Central Coast Council for this event.
