Booking the DPA Hall 

Community functions, private functions, or regular activities

The DPA hall is pleasantly situated adjacent to the Davistown waterfront reserve, approximately 50 metres from Davistown Central Wharf. It is suitable for a wide range of activities, from yoga and dance to markets, meetings, family occasions, and gala events. It has a full kitchen with commercial oven and double-door fridge (no freezer), chairs and tables for approximately 80 people, RC air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and M/F/disabled toilets. The dimensions of the main space are 13.9m long by 7.7m wide, with double doors at the front and in both sides. The hall, its entries and amenities are fully wheelchair-accessible.

2026 Hire Rates:

Casual hire: 

     Full day $250
     Half day (up to 5 hours) $150
                   DPA Members 10% discount

Community/Not-for-Profit/Charity Hire Rates:

Small charitable ventures, not-for-profits, and community groups which clearly have difficulty paying the full hire rate:

      Half Day ………………………………….. $50

      Full Day …………………………………… $80

Larger registered charities or not-for-profit community groups:

      Half Day …………………………………… $75

      Full Day ……………………………………. $125

Hourly rate for permanent bookings: $25 per hour (A permanent booking is defined as multiple bookings on a regular basis, e.g. weekly or monthly.)
