SPONSORSHIP, DONATIONS, BEQUESTS
Silver Sponsors 2025/26
Davistown Progress Association gratefully acknowledges the support of local businesses through their sponsorship of our hall and our activities. Partnerships between businesses and organisations are a key means of fostering the local community and its amenities. All our sponsors are deeply appreciated and readily acknowledged at events and in documents.
We have four levels of sponsorship, outlined below. Please direct all enquiries to the President, Julie Hale, at davistown dot progress at gmail dot com.
Platinum Level – over $2500
Gold Level – $1550 - $2500
Silver Level – $750 - $1500
Bronze Level – $500 - $700
The inclusions in each sponsorship level’s package, for the duration of your sponsorship year, are as follows:
Bronze
- Your company logo included in our newsletter and on our website.
- Your company name included on our sponsors’ list, defined as a “Bronze Sponsor 2025/2026” or “DPA Bronze Sponsor”.
- Promotion of your sponsorship with a photo of you presenting DPA with the symbolic cheque. Publication of this photo and acknowledgement of your sponsorship on the DPA website and Facebook page, and the Davistown Saratoga Chit Chat FB page.
- Your company’s nominated representative included on our invitation list to any relevant special events, as our guest free of charge.
Silver
All the contents of the Bronze package, with “Bronze” replaced by “Silver”, plus:
- Your company logo displayed at DPA events.
- Installation of a sign (approximately A4 size), supplied by you, in the front foyer of the hall, for the duration of your sponsorship. Wording should say, ”[Company name] is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of Davistown Progress Association”.
- Automatic membership of the Association for your nominated company representative, for the duration of your sponsorship.
- Your company’s nominated representative included on our invitation list to any special events, as our guest free of charge.
Gold
All the inclusions of the Silver package, with “Silver” replaced by “Gold”, plus:
- A discreet strip sign, with the wording “Proudly sponsored by [company name]”, placed alongside one in-kind sponsored feature in the Progress Association hall, to remain in perpetuity.
- Your company’s nominated representative and one other person included on our invitation list to any special events, as our guests free of charge.
- Mention of your business in at least three DPA monthly newsletters per year of your sponsorship.
- A larger iteration of your logo than those for Bronze and Silver sponsors placed on our website and in our emails.
- Additional mentions of your sponsorship as and when opportunities occur.
Platinum
All the inclusions of the Gold package, with “Gold” replaced by “Platinum”, plus:
- Your company name always placed at the top of our sponsors’ list (in rotation with other Platinum sponsors if there is more than one such sponsor).
- Your company’s nominated representative and two other persons included on our invitation list to any special events, as our guests free of charge.
- Mention of your business in at least six monthly newsletters per year of your sponsorship
- A promotional banner (eg. pull-up style), supplied by you, displayed at major DPA events.
Whichever level of sponsorship you select, we extend our warmest thanks for your interest in our Association and your willingness to support its aims.
BEQUESTS
If you are considering a bequest that would benefit your community, Davistown Progress Association would greatly appreciate your donation. Suggested wording to be included in your will is below:
1. To leave a sum of money to Davistown Progress Association:
"I give the sum of $_______ to Davistown Progress Association Inc., ABN 21 037 102 072, to be applied for general purposes (OR a specific purpose to be stated). The receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Davistown Progress Association will be a complete discharge to my Executor for the payment of this sum and my Executor will not be bound to see to the application of this sum."
OR
2. If you wish to leave a proportion of your Estate to Davistown Progress Association:
"I direct my Executor to divide the residue of my Estate, both real and personal, into [number] equal shares and I give one share to Davistown Progress Association Inc., ABN 21 037 102 072, to be applied for general purposes (OR a specific purpose to be stated). The receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Davistown Progress Association will be a complete discharge to my Executor for the payment of this sum and my Executor will not be bound to see to the application of this sum."
OR
3. If you wish to leave specific property to Davistown Progress Association:
"I give the following items of my property and personal effects to Davistown Progress Association Inc., ABN 21 037 102 072, to be applied for general purposes (OR a specific purpose to be stated). The receipt of the Treasurer or other proper officer of Davistown Progress Association will be a complete discharge to my Executor for this gift and my Executor will not be bound to see to the application of this gift." Then follow with a list of the item/s.
