Putt-Putt prep

The annual Davistown Putt-Putt Regatta takes place on Sunday 19th October, and the DPA is running our usual membership and fundraising stall at the event. We'd love you to help in any way you can.

  • Chocolate Wheel Raffle
    - prizes are almost all vouchers from local/artisan/sustainable businesses, as well as three fishing reels.
    - buy tickets, watch the wheel spin, and choose up to $50 value from the range of vouchers when you win.

2. HELP NEEDED

  • Before the day:
    (1) join us at the Progress Hall this Friday 10th 1-5pm (definite finish) or next Thursday 16th 12-3pm to prepare items.
    (2) offer still-needed items from your cupboards or an op shop: black gloss paint, gift tags, unused kids' colouring books, as-new books, teal ribbon, paddlepop sticks or similar, small doll (c.30cm tall) for doll's bed, picnic cutlery set, picnic blanket, as-new journals/pretty notebooks.
    (3) lend a hat stand (to display plants) or plastic tubs (for collecting Return & Earn items).
    (4) share the link to the major raffle everywhere you can think of, to everyone you know. www.raffletix.com.au/dpagetaway2025
    (5) contact Julie on 0415 991 461 to find out how else you can help
  • On the day:
    (1) help set up (7-9am) or pack up (4-6pm). Even if you can only come for half an hour, that will help a lot.
    (2) sell raffle tickets or plants, encourage people to join the DPA, take photos of the action, staff the stall, be a gopher/runner/messenger, etc. Again, any help is welcomed, even if it's not for very long.
    (3) the Rotary team organising the Regatta is also requesting help with set-up on Friday 17th. Contact Peter Rea 0438 417 739.
