New Year, New Gear: The DPA Clothes Swap is Back for 2026! 👗✨

Since 2024, the Davistown Progress Association (DPA) has been bringing our community together through the magic of clothes swapping at our local Davistown and Saratoga halls.

As we head into 2026, we’re shaking things up! Based on your feedback and a bit of research, we’ve updated our format to make swapping smoother for our guests, easier for our legendary volunteers, and even better for the planet. Plus, every swap helps us maintain and preserve our beautiful, community-owned heritage hall. ️❤️

Join us for the first swap of the year!

📍 WHERE: Davistown Progress Hall

📅 WHEN: Sunday, 19 April

⏰ TIME: 1:00pm – 3:00pm

How it Works: Choose Your Entry Style

We want everyone to join in the fun, so we’ve kept things simple with three ways to participate:

1. DPA Financial Members: FREE ENTRY ✅

The best way to support the hall! Members get free entry to this and the next four swaps, our monthly newsletter, and discounted Hall Hire. Membership is only $15 per year.

2. Casual Swappers: $5.00 + 5-10 Items ️

Bring 5–10 quality, pre-loved items and receive tokens to exchange for your "new" favourites.

No hidden costs!

3. The "Fill a Bag" Special: $5.00 ️

Starting at 2:45pm (after the main swap finishes), you can fill a bag with any remaining clothing, shoes, jewellery, or linen. Bring your own bag or grab one of our recycled T-shirt bags!

✨ New for 2026: As a trial for our first event, we are also accepting clean, usable linen, towels, and good quality wearable jewellery for swapping or the "fill a bag" special!

● Accessibility: Our hall is fully accessible with close parking, wide doorways, and no steps.

● Nothing to swap? Come anyway! Grab a cuppa, have a chat, and enjoy the community atmosphere.

● Feedback: This new format is a trial based on your suggestions. We welcome polite, constructive feedback to help us keep improving!
