Regatta plans
Spring has sprung and our herb garden is flourishing. So, too, are our plans for the upcoming Davistown Putt-Putt Regatta. Davistown Progress Association (DPA) is proud to support the Regatta, who every year hire our 103-year-old Hall, situated on the Davistown waterfront, to serve as the headquarters for their very popular annual event.
The Davistown Progress Hall is owned and operated by the Association and run by a small, dedicated committee. The Hall is used by the Community for activities such as Watercolour painting, Yoga & Meditation, Strength training, Dance and Psychic reading. These regular hires, plus casual bookings, provide a crucial component of the income for the hall’s upkeep, along with grants, sponsorship and fundraising. Leading up to the Putt-Putt Regatta, we will showcase our regular Hall Hirers, our Sponsors, and our fundraising. Keep updated on our unfolding plans by regularly checking our FB and website.
